Satellite - Coming Up
Satellite have been working with Equiset to commission a series of exciting new works at Good Shed North. The commissioned artists of the permanent commissions will be announced in December 2009, with the projects responding to the unique history and site.
Satellite is working towards launching an online international critical journal on site- and context-specific practices, and associated research repository. The project is entitled Could You Be More Specific?, and is due to go live at the same time as the Goods Shed North permanent commissions.
We are currently refining our placemaking approach and case study document, which will outline the various cultural strategies we employ to improve the liveability of our towns, cities and spaces. An online resource will be available on this site in February 2010.
Satellite is currently working on a number of discrete performance and discursive projects that are designed to be shorter lead time and more responsive. Details about these will be announced in Early 2010.
